Video: South African opposition, EFF vows to continue pressure on President Ramaphosa

An opposition member of South Africa’s parliament, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party. speaks on the party’s resolve to continue to demand good governance from President Cyril Ramaphosa of the ACN.

The president has had his reign threatened with scandals like the Farmgate, the continued failure in the power sector, and anti-government protests by the opposition, EFF.

Video: Russian diplomat, Lavrov insists new global order emerging

In this video, the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister, Sergey Lavrov who is currently at a summit with counterparts from the BRICS bloc talks about the changes in the international system which makes the pursuit of national interest attainable for all in the system.

“A more just, polycentric international order is taking shape” Lavrov said.

It should be noted that Russia has backed several African countries that has taken diplomatic stances against the global-south, notably the United, France and Britain.

Video: Nigeria is the best hope of the black race—President Tinubu

Nigeria’s newly sworn-in President, Bola Tinubu, during his inaugural address on Monday, declared that the country occupied a special place as Africa’s most populous nation, and remained the best hope of the black race.

Tinubu, who garnered about 37 % of the total votes cast in the February 25 presidential election, stated that Nigeria had remained a united entity despite various predictions of its dissolution, and would remain a force in the continent.
