Video: CAF President, Patrice Motsepe, motivates Ghanaian team at World Cup

The Black Stars of Ghana broke the African goal curse on Thursday despite losing 3-2 to Portugal in its first match at the FIFA 2022 World Cup.

In this video, the CAF president, Dr Patrice Motsepe stopped by the Ghana team hotel in Qatar ahead of their clash with Portugal to share a few words of wisdom.

Ghana became the first team from the continent to find the back of the net in what has episodes of losses for African representatives at the ongoing global tournament.

West African country, Mali, under the current military junta, has severed many relations with allies. It started by breaking a defense alliance with the French, it also quit regional the anti-jihadist force, the G-5 force but has enjoyed a good relationship with Russia.

Germany is the latest to announce its intentions to pull its military from Mali.

Perkoa had hinted on plans to close the operation of the mine after eight local miners were trapped in a mine earlier in the year.
