The Nigerian star was in Abidjan for the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND), a three-day gathering of creatives from Africa and the Diaspora.

The sultry singer took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to narrate how thieves stole her personal belongings while she performed at the event on Saturday and Sunday.

Lamenting how she lost her personal belongings to the robbers, the “I Swear” crooner said while she was entertaining her audience, thieves got into her hotel room, ransacked her belongings and stole all the money they could find.

“A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal all the money they could find… Very good,” she wrote.

She noted that the hotel was investigating the theft looking through cameras and all but she knew the “money is all gone by now” as the “suspects are all denying,” she said.
