In this video, Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari promised to distance himself from the country’s capital city, Abuja when he hands over to the new government and promised to relocate to the neighbouring Niger Republic “if anyone forces him”.

Buhari also defended his government’s policy to shut the country’s land borders in August 2019 over the illegal importation of drugs, arms and agricultural products from neighbouring countries.
