Legendary Zambian music icon and member of the popular boy band, Ghetto Link, Nathan Miti, also known as Pyper, has reportedly committed suicide over his wife’s infidelity.
According to reports, Miti took his own life after discovering that his wife had been cheating on him with several men.
According to a post he allegedly put up on Facebook justifying the reason why he decided to commit suicide, the singer was said to have accused his spouse of infidelity, listing 12 men she cheated on him with.
“I did it because I truly loved her from the bottom of my heart. My heart could not stand the nonsense that she is in to,” the post read in part.
Though local media in the country are still trying to get specific details of when, where and how the singer took his own life, the news of Miti’s death has dominated the social media space since it broke.
Many of his fans also took to social media to express shock at his death, while some said they had tried to talk him out of committing suicide to no avail.
“Take heart and leave everything with God, don’t kill yourself because of one person, think about your children and family,” one social media user had advised the talented artiste.
“We have lost a very energetic man full of life, God have mercy,” another user wrote.
Miti’s death is coming barely a month after the “Ghetto Link” regrouped and started working on releasing an album following years of staying inactive as a collective group.
