South African comedian, Trevor Noah is set to launch his personal podcast on Spotify following his departure from “The Daily Show” in December, 2022.
The Grammy host who has been off the radar since announcing the end of his time with the show, revealed one of the endeavours he is immersing himself in is launching a fresh podcast exclusively on Spotify.
Spotify owner, Daniel Ek, also broke the news and shared his excitement on his Twitter page too.
“Welcome to Spotify @TrevorNoah! Excited for people to hear your new Spotify original podcast coming soon,” he posted.
The platform also shared a video on their official Twitter page featuring Noah himself announcing the arrival of his podcast.
“Hey guys, how’s it going? Trevor Noah here. Coming to you fresh from the stage at Spotify. Really exciting news, we’re launching a new podcast, and it’s going to be global which means if you are in the world, it means you are watching this video, which means you can listen to the podcast. I hope to see you there shortly,” he said.
“The podcast will see him blend his signature humour and wit to deliver his unique take and perspective on topics that are hot,” the streaming platform said.
