A Zimbabwean socialite, Ellen Tsaura, has pleaded with Nigerian Afrobeats megastar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, to marry her after her fifth boyfriend dumped her following a “bra-throwing” incident in 2022.
The South Africa-based Ellen Tsaura had, during a performance by the “Last Last” crooner in June last year at the Belgravia Sports Club in Harare,
thrown her black bra at him in the euphoria.
In an interview with Music Base Africa magazine after the controversial incident, Tsaura had said she was thrilled to be recognized by Nigerian media which eulogized her bravery and love for their star.
“Honestly, I feel honored, loved, and admired. I know they are doing their job creating entertainment and providing content through social media platforms.
“Nonetheless to me, they are building my brand and creating my portfolio, and I am so grateful,” she had said.
When asked what led her to toss her bra to Burna Boy, Tsaura said it was her love for the Nigerian superstar that prompted it.
“In his shows and concept, Burna Boy is well known for catching bras from ladies’ audiences, it’s his habit and he enjoys it too. So, yeah, throwing my bra to him was a sign of love, and appreciating him as he is my Best Artist Worldwide,” she said.
She went on to say if she was given the opportunity to date Burna Boy, she would do it “100%”.
However, barely a year after the controversy, Tsaura has asked the multiple award-winning “African Giant” singer to marry her after her last boyfriend dumped her.
In a post on her Twitter account on Friday, the love-smitten Zimbabwean who said Burna Boy was “the most handsome black man in the whole world,” revealed that the incident had caused her boyfriend to leave her.
“I broke up with my 5th Boyfriend because of this. @burnaboy must just come and marry me kwacho,” she wrote.
