Nigerian Afro-pop sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is set to enter Hollywood history after he was earmarked to feature on the soundtrack of “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse”.
The good news was announced by record producer, Metro Boomin, in a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday, who confirmed that Wizkid had been pencilled down as one of the global artistes to feature on the movie’s soundtrack.
The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer will feature in the movie soundtrack which will be released on all streaming platforms on June 2 alongside international music stars like Lil Wayne, Nas, 2 Chainz, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, Rosalía, and A Boogie.
Others who will be featured include Offset, Beam, Lil Uzi Vert, Tove Lo, Coi Leray, Nav, JID, Swae Lee, and Eight.
“Wizkid is confirmed for the @spiderverse movie soundtrack available everywhere on June 2nd!”, Boomin wrote in one of the posts.
Wizkid who also confirmed his participation in the project in a post on Twitter on Monday, wrote:

The Spider-Verse soundtrack is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on June 2, in premium large formats and IMAX.
