Moroccan international footballer, Achraf Hakimi on Friday, became a sensation when his wife, Hiba Abouk, discovered during a divorce process that though he is a multimillionaire, he does not actually own a thing as every of his money and assets was in his mother’s name.
Abouk had filed for divorce after three years of marriage and demanded over 50% of the PSG defender’s assets and wealth, but during the court hearing, it came to light that Hakimi possessed no belongings as he had transferred his complete fortune to his mother’s ownership a long time ago.
According to reports, the 36-year-old Abouk found out, to her shock, that Hakimi, 24, had registered all his properties and monies in his mother’s name, and whenever he needed anything, he would ask his mother to buy it for him.
“All his houses, cars, clothes, and jewelry were found to be in his mother’s name, and millions in salary were deposited in accounts bearing his mother’s name,” the report said.
The report added that 80 percent of all that Hakimi owns is registered in his mother’s name and as such, there is no way Abouk, an actress, will be able to claim a half of his wealth.
The couple got married in 2020 and have two sons. Abouk reportedly filed for divorce around March 2023 after the French police placed Hakimi under investigated following a rape accusation lodged against him by a French woman.
Abouk is a Spanish actress who was born to a Tunisian father and a Spanish mother. Her father is a Tunisian engineer who immigrated to Spain, and her mother is a Spanish housewife.
