Video: After years sectional agitations, Ethiopians celebrate Orthodox Christmas

Two months after a ceasefire agreement was reached between the federal government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), Ethiopians are celebrating their Orthodox Christmas after almost two years of war.

This video report tells the story of Lalibela, an Ethiopian town famous for its medieval rock-hewn churches, welcoming tourists and pilgrims to celebrate Orthodox Christmas on Saturday for the first time since war broke out in the Tigray region.
