Video: Months after deadly syrup saga, Gambia’s deceased babies’ families still waiting for answers

Following the outrage that trailed the deaths of dozens of children suspected to emanate from taking brands of paracetamol syrup which led to the Gambian government’s suspension of the importation of syrups in November.

Families of the children who died after consuming the syrups rejected compensation offers from the government last month but they expect “justice” on the matter.

Video: Former President, Ian Khama, denies knowledge of extradition request for his trial

Weeks after a Botswana court dismissed an application by former President Ian Khama to have an arrest warrant against him struck down, the embattled former president in this video said he is not aware of any extradition request by the law enforcement agencies in Botswana.

The charges include against Khama include unlawful possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property, and procuring the registration of a firearm by false pretense among others
