Video: Nigerian professor, Zainab Abiola, assaults female police orderly over chores

In Nigeria, police have arrested a lawyer and human rights activist, Prof. Zainab Duke Abiola for allegedly assaulting her orderly in Abuja, the country’s capital.

It is reported that the assault happened following the refusal of the orderly – Inspector Teju Moses – to do house chores.

Abiola and her maid have been arrested by the Nigerian police for the alleged offense.

Video of the assaulted bleeding and distressed police officer went viral on the internet on Thursday. Watch below:

Video: Protesters vandalize French embassy in Burkina Faso as reactions trail coup

Unrest has continued in Burkina Faso’s capital city, Quagadougou following a coup that ousted Lieutenant-Colonel on Friday, protesters on Saturday hit the French embassy and vandalise its building in the troubled West African.

The Friday coup was led by one of his trusted allies, Captain Ibrahim Traore, eight months after he had overthrown the democratically elected President Roch Kabore in January and there has fear of a counter coup as shootings eusued at the capital on Saturday.
