Video: President Museveni to the West on LGBTQ, respect African societies and their values



In this video, Uganda’s president, Yoweri Museveni during an interview with a CNN journalist insisted that African countries be left alone to build their societies on local values and tradition amidst pressure from the West over “right”

President Museveni was speaking specifically in reaction to questions on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) movements which have been firmly rebuked in Museveni’s Uganda.

Video: Nigerian world beater, Tobi Amusan visits alma mater amidst cheering reception



Last Friday, Nigerian athlete and world beater, Tobi Amusan visited her alma mater, Our Lady Of Apostles Secondary school in Ijebu Ode, Ogun, South West Nigeria.

Amusan recently won gold for her country at the just concluded commonwealth game in Birmingham after she obliterated the world record in an astonishing semi-final where she clocked 12.12sec, and powered over the line at Hayward Field in 12.06sec to win gold.

She recently bagged a cash prize and national honour presented by Nigeria’s President Muhamadu Buhari

The cheering host comprised of locals and current students from the school formed a guard of honour right from the school’s gate to welcome Tobi back to her former school.
