In this video, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda reiterated his position of seeking the “best” for Congo. Stressing that he is however prepared for the worst.

Congo DR and Rwanda have been at loggerheads with the later accusing the Kigali of supporting rebel group M23.  Kagame urged all players concerned in the diplomatic tension between the two East African neighbours to only be moved by the facts of the matter to find lasting solution to it.

Ugandan political activist, Kizza Besigye shortly after being granted bail by a magistrate court on Friday, addressed the press, stressing that Ugandan’s current economy woes are not fallouts of the Covid-19 pandemic or the ongoing Russia and Ukraine war, rather it is a product of years of bad governance and corruption under the current leadership of the country.

Ugandan has been ruled by President Yoweri Museveni, who took over power in 1986 and has ruled ever since, making him one of the world’s longest-serving leaders.
